Privacy Policy

What we collect
- •Issue reports you submit on app status pages (for example category, platform, region, and optional description).
- •Comments or similar content you post where the product allows it.
- •Technical data needed to run the site: hashed or truncated IP-derived data for abuse prevention and rate limits, timestamps, and basic browser or device hints when relevant to debugging.
- •If you email us, we keep the message content and address needed to reply.
- •Aggregated or de-identified analytics about how pages are used (see Google Analytics below).
Why we use it
- •To calculate and display status, charts, and incident-style views from community input.
- •To detect spam, manipulation, or overload and to keep the service stable.
- •To respond to support and legal requests.
- •To secure the platform and improve reliability.
Storage & safeguards
- •Data is stored on infrastructure we control or engage under contract (for example application database and cache layers).
- •Transport is protected with HTTPS in normal operation.
- •Access is limited to what is needed to operate the service; we do not sell personal information.
- •Retention follows operational need and this policy; some items are short-lived by design (for example rate-limit artifacts).
Processors & third parties

Google Analytics & Search Console

Rights for individuals in the EEA, UK, and similar regimes
- •You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
- •To exercise a request, email contact@appdown.report with enough detail for us to verify and locate data tied to you (reports are often pseudonymous).
- •We respond within reasonable timelines required by applicable law.
U.S. state privacy notices
- •Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know categories of personal information collected, to request deletion, and to appeal certain decisions.
- •We do not operate third-party advertising on AppDown at this time and do not use this site to sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- •Submit requests to contact@appdown.report with the subject line “U.S. Privacy Request” and describe the right you wish to exercise.

What AppDown is
- •AppDown offers public status pages, report flows, and related information built mainly from community submissions and our status models.
- •We may list official links for convenience; they are not endorsements and may be incomplete.
- •The service is provided at no charge to end users today; that may change with notice.
Your responsibilities
- •Provide truthful, good-faith reports. Do not use the service to harass, threaten, or dox others.
- •Do not submit secrets (passwords, full card numbers, government IDs, private keys).
- •Respect technical limits (rate limits, robots, admin boundaries).
- •You are responsible for how you rely on any status shown here.
What you must not do
- •Attempt to distort status (for example coordinated fake reports, bots, or scripted flooding).
- •Probe, scrape, or attack the service beyond normal browsing.
- •Reverse engineer or circumvent security or access controls.
- •Use AppDown in violation of law or third-party rights.
Availability & changes
- •We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or error-free data.
- •Maintenance, outages upstream, or dependency failures may affect the site.
- •We may modify features or policies; continued use after notice can mean acceptance of reasonable updates.
Disclaimer & liability cap
- •Content is informational. Status is not a warranty from app vendors or from AppDown.
- •To the fullest extent permitted by law, AppDown is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data.
- •Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greater of amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim (currently zero for typical visitors) or one hundred U.S. dollars.
Dispute resolution
- •Contact contact@appdown.report (or https://appdown.report/contact) first; allow a reasonable window to resolve concerns informally.
- •If binding arbitration applies in your jurisdiction and you have agreed to it, disputes may be arbitrated individually rather than as a class action; courts may still hear claims that arbitration law does not permit to be waived.
- •AppDown operates from New Delhi, India; notices and governing-law questions may reference Indian law except where mandatory local law overrides.
Privacy & consent
- •Use of the site is also governed by this page’s Privacy Policy (https://appdown.report/legal#privacy-policy), including analytics and security processing.
- •We do not run display advertising on the site today; if that changes, we will update this document.

- •You warrant you have the right to submit that content and that it does not violate others’ rights.
