Contact Us
Use this page for AppDown itself—the website, methodology questions, or coverage requests. If a specific app is failing for you, go to that app's status page and use Report an Issue so your report counts toward the right status signal.

contact@appdown.reportFrequently Asked Questions
How do I report an app issue?
Open that app’s AppDown page (from All Apps or /status/your-app-slug). Use the “Report an Issue” section: pick a category, region, and platform when you can. That submission is aggregated with others and drives the status and charts for that app—not the general contact form on this page.
How often does status change?
New reports are processed as they arrive; the displayed status and confidence are recalculated from rolling report volume and time windows (short and longer intervals). You may see labels shift quickly during spikes, then stabilize as patterns become clear. Pages may also refresh on a schedule for performance—check the latest on the live status page.
Can I suggest a new app to monitor?
Yes. Email contact@appdown.report with the app name, what it does, and links (website, store, or social). You can also use the “Suggest an App” call-to-action on the site where it appears. We add apps as capacity and editorial fit allow.
Is AppDown an official status page for each app?
No. AppDown is an independent, community-sourced snapshot. Official sources listed on an app page are for your convenience. Status reflects our models and user reports, not a guarantee from the app’s vendor—always check the developer or company for authoritative statements.
Is my personal information safe?
We aim to collect only what’s needed to run reports and prevent abuse (for example hashed IP data for rate limiting, as described in our Privacy Policy). Don’t put passwords or payment card numbers in free-text fields. For full detail, read the legal pages linked in the footer.
